Instructions for changing the flash tube

Be sure to switch off the flash before changing the flash tube disconnect the device from the power supply or remove the battery. Wait until the protective bell and flash tube are cold. The flash tube may only be changed if the device (flash capacitors) is discharged!

Be sure to use clean and dry cotton or rubber gloves when changing. Carefully pull off the protective bell. Wrap that twisted ignition wire from the flash tube holder and carefully pull the bulb out of the device. To insert a new flash tube, Support the legs of the replacement tube without touching the metal contacts and carefully push it into the final position. Then wrap the ignition wire around the flash tube holder again and put the protective bell back on.
