Features of the Compact Traveler No. 1 from Rollei
The maximum working height is 112 cm, the travel tripod can be adjusted to a minimum of 33 cm on three legs. When the legs are turned inside out in the macro tripod position, an effective height of 0 cm is achieved. Alternatively, the photographers turn the center column around. What is remarkable is the stability of the metal legs and their convenient fixation using rotary clamps, which make assembly quick and easy. Users achieve the greatest stability if they do not extend the lowest part of the legs, which is very thin (1 cm in diameter), but this costs 22 cm in height. The center column itself is held by a screw cap, and three wide wings make screwing it on much easier. Overall, the Compact Traveler No. travel tripod can 1 from Rollei is completely convincing in terms of its functions.n.

Claudia Bahlke from the Rhine-Main area says about the Compact Traveler No. 1:
„Finally there is a stylish and truly sports-friendly tripod on the market, the Rollei company has taken care of our needs and because I applied to be a tester for fotoMAGAZIN, the equipment manager and I are allowed to put it through its paces. The Rollei Compact Traveler No.1 is really extremely light and still offers all the options we could have hoped for from a tripod.“
Uli Geißler from Fürth, freelance journalist and photographer, says about the Compact Traveler No. 1:
"A travel tripod is clearly a compromise between weight, pack size, working height, function and adjustment options. The Rollei Compact Traveler No. 1 therefore represents a very good compromise, because the workmanship quality and the practical handling for implementing photographic requirements are excellent and also the Price is reasonable."."
The professional photographer travels a lot and so he also had the Compact Traveler No. 1 on his trip to Israel. Uli Geißler took the following photo of Jerusalem with the help of the travel tripod.
